Katelyn is a senior at Chapel Hill High School in Mount Pleasant.  Katelyn plays basketball and golf and is the manager for the cross country and volleyball teams.  After graduation, she plans to attend Texas Christian University and pursue a bachelors degree in criminal justice.  Upon completing her degree, Katelyn plans to transfer to Southern Methodist University and go to law school.

In her free time, Katelyn enjoys going out on the lake in the boat or riding jet skis.  At home, she might can be found watching her one of her favorite tv shows such as How to Get Away with Murder or Green Leaf.

Her advice to upcoming seniors is "to take as many dual credit classes as you can.  Take spontaneous trips to wherever and have fun!  And when you're ready to schedule your senior pictures, choose Shana!  You will not regret it."

Katelyn's advice for  other seniors getting their senior portraits made?  "Research your locations and choose an experienced photographer such as Shana!  Also, don’t be nervous around your photographer!"  She also advises, "Plan your outfits before! Make sure you have time to order or go shopping for any other clothing item you may want".

As far as makeup goes, Katelyn suggests, "If you are getting your makeup professionally done I would try to get a practice round in to make sure you like their work. I used Lauren Lesher for hair and makeup and was very pleased."

When I asked Katelyn what her biggest fear or worry about her session was, she had this to say, "I was worried about the weather not cooperating and not having enough sunlight but Shana knew exactly how to handle that! I was also worried about not being comfortable or just being awkward but Shana did a wonderful job getting me out of my shell!"
